Just done a quick search and not found anything about this so here goes.

I love the film and mini TV series and heard there is a book out there but is almost identical to the show. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything in the same style bearing in mind Ive never read it before and only watched Afro.

I am such a fan of this anime too, the art, the story, the music, the character, etc...I s a great overall anime, the bad thing is that the game that came out under the same name was crap

If you're looking for recommendations for works of art like Afro Samurai, the obvious next step would be Samurai Champloo. It's an anime that blends both music (Hip Hop) and action/adventure in a beautiful way. I really think everyone should see this anime.
